Healthy sexual expression is wide and vast. There are many people who do not fit into the nice neat little box of heterosexual, monogamous, and typical forms of sexual expression. While there is nothing wrong with those types of sexual expression, for many people it is not who they are and they need a therapist who understands and can help them explore what is right for them. For some it is not their alternative lifestyle that is the issue; however they need a therapist who understands and will not judge or pathologize them for being different.

Unfortunately, many therapist have little training is human sexuality beyond the basic course. I have extensive academic and clinical training on a wide variety of human sexuality and understand how many forms of sexuality can be expressed in a healthy manner.
